Bookbinding Workshops

Are you fascinated by the craftsmanship and beauty of hand-bound books? Do you want to learn the ancient art of bookbinding and create your own unique notebooks? Look no further! 10 Cups of Tea is excited to announce our series of bookbinding workshops.

During these workshops, you will have the opportunity to learn how to create your own notebook, sketchbooks and journals. Whether you are a beginner or have some experience in bookbinding, this workshop is designed to cater to all skill levels.

In our first workshop we will be making a beautiful handmade journal using the buttonhole-stitch technique—a non-adhesive style binding. This binding style makes a wonderful sketchbook, photo album, or journal.

Class fees includes all materials we use to make this book: Decorative paper, adhesive backing sheet, Watercolor paper for cover, waxed-linen thread, and a needle. A booklet with printed instruction is included with a step-by-step guide to take home.

Tools needed are provided during the class: Bonefolder, X-acto knife, awl, scissors, ruler, pencil, and a cutting mat.

Spaces for our bookbinding workshop are limited, so be sure to secure your spot today! Click the button below to subscribe and receive updates about our upcoming workshop dates and locations.
